Are you one wwho is a pesemistic or an optimistic? How do you handoe it when things go wrong? Is it like lolipops and rainbows, or woe is me? Just curious?

I try to be an optimist. After I get out of a situation that's negative, I try to look back on it and figure out what went wrong and what went right. Hopefully, I'll learn something.

It depends on my mood. I tend to be very pessimistic at times, although I usually get over it. I can also be stupidly optimistic at times.

I'm mostly optimistic, and sometimes I'm so optimistic that it annoys pessimistic friends. Just ask Sage Rose, LOL! It's only in extremely depressing times that I get pessimistic, but most times I look on the bright side of things.

i'm optimistic. like others, when faced with a negative situation, I figure out what went wrong, or how I can turn it into something positive.

I've been told that I'm both, but I think it depends on the situation. If I can, I'll try to be an optimust, and most of the time, I am an optimust anyway...

Lol, I think I agree with Becky, but yeh, I try to be both, just doesnt' always get perceived that way

I'm a sarcastic son-of-a-gun because it's the only way I can be pessimistic and optimistic at the same time. lol

I don't think it's always so cut-and-dried. For example, I proudly proclaim I'm a realist and cynic, yet I prefer optimism to pessimism, because first of all I'm emotionally even-keeled to I don't take hte optimism to extremes. Second, I just don't like the feeling of the idea that we're all just doomed and our hands are tied.

I am pessamistic. I have been like that all my life. Now I take panick attacks. I woke up this morning panicking and I don't know why.

I am a bit of both, it is kind of balanced. It all depends on my mood and what is going on, deep down, I am light hearted and not worried about anything.

I call myself a realistic optimist. I'm not blind to reality around me, but I really do try to look for the best in most things, sometimes to the annoyance of some of my more pecimistic friends.

Well, I call myself a realist, but most just call me a pessimist. Take your pick, I suppose. I do tend to predict the worst case scenario and usually when a situation goes badly I dwell a bit more on the negative than I really should, and I'm usually the one pointing out the cons when my friends are trying to make decisions. I try to keep things balanced and look at things fairly, but it doesn't always work.

This will surprise some people but I'm an optimist I can't stand greetin faced people.

I'm mostly optimistic, in fact my friends will get mad at me because when they are pestamistic about the same situation that I'm optimistic about they don't want to hear it.
